A Career Built on Excellence

Called to the Jamaican Bar in 2014. Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours (UWI) and Legal Education Certificate with Merit (Norman Manley Law School).

Ms. Edwards began her career as a Clerk of Courts in St. Thomas before entering legal practice and rising to senior leadership roles in the legal sector.

At the DPP's Office, Ms. Edwards headed the Cybercrimes and Digital Forensics Unit and served as Deputy Head of the Financial Crimes Unit.

She has appeared across every level of Jamaica's court system, including in several landmark matters — among them the first lottery scamming case tried before a jury in Jamaica.

She has participated in international legal cooperation efforts, including treaty negotiations and international training programmes.

She has also served as an Adjunct Law Lecturer at UWI and Norman Manley Law School, teaching criminal law, evidence, and legal procedure.

She currently provides advisory and training services to international organisations and NGOs as a Digital Forensics and cybercrime practitioner.
